  • Optimize Product Pages: It's highly important to put a lot of effort optimizing product pages to give visitors of the website the best experience. For each product page the following is achieved:
    • Optimize the product page title by giving informative and unique title for each product page. I also tried to place keywords that drive traffic to the product page.
    • Optimize the product page meta description and ensure that the description explains the product and has the relevant keywords that drive traffic.
    • Optimize the URL for each product and ensure that each URL describes the the product and has the relevant keywords that drive traffic
    • Write unique description of each product page and ensure to have the relevant keywords that drive traffic. Also the ability to review the product.
    • Optimize the product images by compressing them and giving each image a descriptive name and descriptive text in the "alt" tag.
    • Provide related products at the bottom of each product page to ensure to enhance user's experience and link associated products with each other.
    • Write blog posts around keywords that have search demand and traffic potential and do internal linking between the blog posts when applicable. Also do internal linking from the blog posts to the category pages and product pages that are relevant to the blog post.
    • Build a strong backlink profile by having links from trusted sources that have topical authority. Also by offering the products on other authoritative platforms (like e-commerce marketplace platforms) to ensure having backlinks from trusted sources that have topical authority.
  • Do market research.
  • Do competitor research to analyze to benefit from the following:
    • Their best ranking content.
    • The keywords used to drive the traffic.
    • Backlink profile.
  • Do keyword research through the following tools:
    • Ahrefs, which is considered the best in the industry.
    • Ubersuggest
    • Google Ads Keyword Planner: Because it gives insights on the keyword search volume and how much people are paying for each keyword.
    • Utilize Google search by getting insights from:
      • Google auto-complete search: Because the auto-complete mechanism is based on what the people are searching for.
      • People also ask: Because Google shows these questions based on what people are asking for.
      • Related searches: Because it's based on what people are searching for also.
    • Answer The Public, which helps discover what the people are asking about. This tool is highly important because it shows how keywords are connected together and the questions asked using those keywords.
    • Quora, which also a great source for keyword ideas as it shows what the people are asking for.
  • Measure performance by using below tools:
    • Google Analytics.
    • Google Search Console.
    • Google Search Console Insights.
    • Google PageSpeed Insights.

The top traffic channel is "Organic Search", which reflects a robust SEO performance.

The website ranks nearly the first result for any search term containing the world "majouri".
Check below sections for this.

For perfume names that don't contain brand name "majouri", the website ranks well in the first page of Google Search also.

Note that "Majouri Website" ranks number "2" among big brand websites.


The website ranks before "Amazon" and "Fragrantica", even though the latter one has a topical authority regarding the search term.
This could be achieved due to the extensive SEO enhancements (like on-page SEO and link building) in order to gain Google trust in the perfumes industry.

Note that "Majouri Website" ranks number "3" among big brand websites.
The website ranks before giant e-commerce websites like "Amazon" and "Etsy". This is happening, in fact, due to topical authority regarding the search term. For Google, "Majouri Website" is more authoritative than "Amazon" and "Etsy" for the search term.
Of course, this is not something that could be achieved easily. A lot of SEO work has been accomplished to achieve such a topical authority.

The website ranks number "7" with a blog post about the search topic. The post contains internal links to other product pages in the website.
Note that the website ranks among big names like "Fragrantica" and "Sephora". It even ranks before "Sephora" for the search term.

It even ranks before big websites like "Harrods" and "parfumo", which has a topical authority in the perfumes industry.
Also note that the website is featured in "Google Image Search" due to the "Image Optimization" done for the products images.

The website ranks number "1" for the search term. It ranks with a blog post, that I already created, for the search term.
Note that Google even featured part of the blog post and displayed in the search results. This means that Google trusts the explanation in the blog post and it answers the searcher and meets the search intent.
In the blog post, There're also links (i.e., internal links) to product pages that are woody-originated.
